ranchu goldfish care Feed it with varied branded prepared fish food like Hikari, sakura, etc but be careful in feeding them with floating foods you need to soak it with water before feeding it. Feed it with live foods too, like blood worm, daphnia, brine shrimp and mosquito larvae, but be careful in feeding with live foods they might be carrier of pathogens. I recommend disinfecting the live foods first before feeding them. Perform 75% water change weekly and add anti chlorine even though if your water source don't have chlorine but anti chlorine is a good water conditioner and stress reliever too. Don't forget also add a good filtration system.

How to properly quarantine your newly bought fishes ? These is most common mistakes of newbie fish keepers so as with expert fish keepers and breeders too, Reasons why sometimes these important rule is for granted for fish keepers and breeders. Fishes looks healthy so they think that quarantine is not necessary anymore. Fish vendor, petshops and other sellers won't mind to tell them since they don't care if your fish gets sick and died since they only want to sell their fish and they are happy if your fish gets sick and get killed easily since if your fish died definitely you will comeback to buy again.

Floater fish food available at petstore but remember to soak the floater fish food first to water before feeding to avoid floater disease. Wheat germ You can buy it at Pacifica feeds supply it is usually given to conditioning fighting cock. Brine shrimp you can buy it to petstore or pm me. duckweed This is found in swamps or near rice paddies if you don't have access to it just ask me. Daphnia you can catch them to rice paddies or canal but I don't recommend this since this can be a carrier of pathogens bacteria and parasites Mosquito larvae not recommended also a carrier of parasites and other disease causing bacteria
